Welcome back to the blog! I’m so excited about today’s post because we’re shining a spotlight on an amazing small business I recently discovered Coos & Chaos Craft Shack. Not only will you get to learn more about the incredible woman behind it, but I also have some of her handmade pieces to share with you that she generously sent to me!
Meet Mandee, the Creative Powerhouse Behind Coos & Chaos Craft Shack
I’m so excited to introduce you to Mandee, the owner and one-woman show behind Coos & Chaos Craft Shack! From the moment I discovered her small business, I could feel the heart and hustle she pours into everything she does and after getting to know more about her story, I’m even more obsessed.
Mandee is not just the face of Coos & Chaos she is the business. She personally inspects every piece of clothing, preps and bleaches the tees, presses the designs, packages each order, and ships everything out herself. There’s no team behind the scenes it’s just her, and she somehow manages to do it all with so much care and intention. Before launching her shop, Mandee worked full time as a Special Education Paraprofessional and was pursuing a teaching degree. But in February 2024, after welcoming her beautiful baby boy, she made the courageous decision to shift her path so she could spend more time with her family while still helping support them. That’s when the vision for Coos & Chaos Craft Shack came to life.
Her shop is full of personality, creativity, and handmade goodness from sublimation and vinyl to DTF and custom creations. If you have something in mind that’s not listed, she’s always open to custom ideas and truly does her best to make everyone feel seen and valued.
Mandee was so sweet to send me two of her custom shirts to share with you all and I couldn’t wait to show you this first one! It reads: “Suspect claims she's an adult but still orders the chicken fingers.” Tell me that’s not hilariously accurate?! 😂 I’m a sucker for a good witty quote, and this one totally had me laughing. It’s fun, relatable, and SO me. One of the things I absolutely love about this tee—besides the hilarious quote is the gorgeous bleach-dyed design Mandee created. It features a stunning greyish-purple tone that gives it such a cool, lived-in vibe while still feeling totally unique. This is part of her signature bleach style, and you can tell how much care she puts into getting that perfect blend of color and character. Every piece has its own look, which makes it feel extra special like it was made just for you!
Now let’s talk about the second tee Mandee sent over because it’s seriously made for summer! This one features the fun and carefree phrase “Float, Drink, Tan, Repeat” and it truly captures the ultimate summer mindset. The moment I saw it, I instantly pictured pool days, beach weekends, and sun-soaked afternoons with a cold drink in hand.
Living in Florida, this shirt couldn’t be more me. It perfectly sums up how we do summer down here laid-back, fun, and always chasing the sunshine. What makes it even more of a standout is the gorgeous teal blue color of the shirt it’s bold, beautiful, and gives off major tropical energy. The design itself features bright, vibrant colors that pop so well against the teal, making the whole piece feel playful and eye-catching. It’s one of those tees that turns heads and makes people smile.
I love how easy it is to throw on with denim shorts, a swimsuit, or even some cozy lounge pants. It’s comfy, fun, and such a cute conversation starter. Mandee truly nailed it with this one both the design and color combo are summer perfection!
