I’m so excited to feature another amazing small business called Shockley Sprinkles, created by the sweetest soul, Christain Shockley! Christain (formerly Cummings, that’s how she got her business name!) is a 29-year-old mom of three with such an inspiring story. She once was a single mom working nonstop to support her little ones, including one with special needs. Life wasn’t easy, but her strength and love for her kids kept her going. Then she met her amazing husband, who’s been her biggest supporter and helped her rediscover herself. On that journey, she found Pink Zebra, a company she fell in love with for its mission and its Heros Program that helps single moms with free daycare, something she says she wishes she had back then. Christain sent me some of her Shockley Sprinkles products to try, and I’m already obsessed! Not only do they smell so good, but they’re also non-toxic, soy-based, and completely safe for kids and pets, plus, they don’t trigger headaches or allergies. Christain was so sweet to send me a dish soap and 5 of her Shockley Sprinkles to try and let me just say, they smell absolutely amazing! Each one is a custom fragrance blend that she personally created by mixing together different Pink Zebra sprinkles to make something completely unique.If you’re new to Pink Zebra, their sprinkles are tiny scented wax beads made from soy, and what’s really fun is that you can blend different fragrances together to create your own signature scent. Christain has such a great eye (and nose!) for combining scents, her mixes are the perfect balance of cozy, sweet, and fresh. I love how creative she gets with her blends and how each one has its own vibe. They’re not just good for your home they make it smell welcoming and happy without being overpowering. Plus, knowing they’re non-toxic and safe for kids and pets is such a bonus!
One of the blends Christain sent me that I instantly fell in love with is called Spooky Cookies and it’s just as fun (and delicious) as it sounds! This custom blend mixes two Pink Zebra fragrances: Boo Berry Muffin and Pumpkin Waffles. Together, they create the coziest, warm bakery scent that seriously smells like fall in a bag. The Boo Berry Muffin side brings notes of blueberry muffin, sugar, and caramel drizzle, while Pumpkin Waffles adds that perfect touch of caramelized sugar, pumpkin butter, and cinnamon vanilla. When blended, the result is a sweet, comforting aroma that feels like you’re baking fresh muffins on a crisp autumn morning. It’s the perfect scent to warm up your home and give all the cozy, spooky-season.
Another blend Christain created that completely won me over is her Caramel Apple Pie mix. This one combines three Pink Zebra fragrances: Caramel Apple Cider, Caramel Apple Delight, and Warm Apple Pie. Together, they create a rich, cozy scent that feels just like stepping into a kitchen filled with freshly baked desserts. Caramel Apple Cider brings the warmth of crisp apple, caramel drizzle, and cinnamon, while Caramel Apple Delight Pink Zebra’s Paisley Pick of the Month for November adds a creamy layer of granny smith apples, caramel strands, and whipped vanilla milk. This fragrance is extra special because 10% of all Paisley Pick sales are donated to the Heros Program, which provides free daycare days to single moms. It’s such a wonderful way to enjoy safe, beautiful fragrances while making a difference one purchase, one mom, one hero at a time. To round it out, Warm Apple Pie ties everything together with baked apple, warm brown sugar, and cinnamon, creating the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. The last item Christain sent me is the Emerald Evergreen Dish Soap, and I absolutely love it.
