Welcome back to the blog! Today, I’m really excited to highlight a beautiful Etsy shop called The Bohemian Lark, owned by the creative and inspiring Corrie Black Knudson. Corrie was kind enough to send me one of her products to share with you all, and I have to say, it’s always such a treat to feature small businesses that are built on passion and creativity. Corrie’s journey started a few years ago when she decided to open her first Etsy shop, Resting Gypsy Print (which later became The Bohemian Lark). She began by putting her original designs on t-shirts and pillow covers, and from there, her creativity just kept expanding. Before long, her holiday-themed designs were becoming the most popular part of her shop. That’s when she decided to launch a second shop, Claus Central, as a way to showcase and dedicate space to her festive creations. Like many small business owners, Corrie faced challenges during the pandemic in 2020. With much of the apparel fabric supply being redirected to mask production and order processing slowing down, she had to step away from selling apparel altogether. But Corrie didn’t let that stop her, she kept her creative spirit alive through her other designs and shops. Now, she’s slowly reintroducing apparel back into her shop, and it’s so exciting to see her fresh new designs starting to roll out again. I love that her work continues to evolve while staying true to her creative roots. Supporting shop owners like Corrie reminds us how much heart and dedication goes into every handmade item, and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!
Corrie sent me one of her absolutely adorable Halloween wall hangings, and I’m obsessed! She has such a wide variety of designs available in her shop that it was honestly hard to choose just one there are so many cute options, I wanted them all. The wall hanging is made from a strong and durable poly twill fabric that holds its shape beautifully and dries quickly. It measures 18" × 21" features a one-sided print, and comes ready to hang with a twine frame and wooden dowel included. It’s the perfect little statement piece to add some festive charm to your space!
The design I picked has the most beautiful spooky vintage vibe. It’s a woodland forest witch scene that instantly caught my eye, the details are so magical. Picture lanterns glowing softly as they hang among the trees, pumpkins scattered throughout the forest floor, and a large luminous moon shining down to complete the look. It’s whimsical, a little eerie, and absolutely perfect for adding that enchanting Halloween touch to your décor.
What I really love about this wall hanging is how perfectly it blends in with the rest of my Halloween décor. The spooky forest witch design ties in so well with my pumpkins, candles, and other festive pieces, creating such a fun and cohesive vibe throughout the space. It feels like it was made to be part of my collection, and it adds just the right touch of vintage Halloween charm. I’m honestly so impressed with the quality of this wall hanging. The fabric feels sturdy and durable, the print is crisp and vibrant, and you can tell it’s made to last.
