About The Owner
Meet Rebecca Jean, the owner of her small business Mobile Beauty Services LLC. She is a certified Makeup Artist and a licensed cosmetologist. She has lived in Lawrence Township, New Jersey, Prince Edward Island, Canada, and Hernando, Mississippi. When She was 15 years old, she moved to New Jersey and had to start her life over again. She is so grateful for her journey and the people that she has met along the way. Rebecca is the true definition of a girly girl. She has a huge passion for beauty and art. She has become a fairy glam mother throughout the years. She loves learning about new products, trends, and tips and tricks daily. She loves to take the knowledge that she knows to create blog posts, Pinterest boards, Amazon boards and much more.
How It All Started
The story of Rebecca actually beginning her career is quite a unique story. When she was a teenager her best friend convinced her to sneak out of the house and go to a party with her. When they showed up to the party they discovered the person hosting it was a professional photographer. He shortly found out that she was studying cosmetology, he asked her to prepare one of his models ready for his upcoming shoot,and she agreed to do so. She went to Freehold mall, where they were doing the shoot, and they had her set up right there in the food court. While she was doing her hair and makeup for the model, they talked, and she asked what the shoot was for. She told her that she was a model in a pageant and that the shoot was for her to take photos with her new sash and crown for the current title that she had just received. Rebecca was in shock. She had no idea what type of shoot that she was assisting for. The mom of the model then tells her that she owns the pageant and asked her be their hair and makeup artist! She accepted this offer rather quickly and was so excited. Rebecca has the opportunity to travel everywhere with the pageant girls and met so many talented people along the way. From there, she branched out into other occasions such as weddings, parties, special events, and anyone who needs a makeup artist.
The Start Of Being A Business Owner
Rebecca worked for other people who she believed did not know how to run their businesses correctly. This process really taught her the things she would want to do with her own business instead. When she first began her career as a cosmetologist, she realized that becoming an entrepreneur and building her own business from the ground up as a high-end professional Makeup Artist and Hairstylist was something that she really wanted to do with her career. Rebecca has been running her business now for about 12 years, and she wouldn't change it for the world. She says running her own mobile business has been the biggest passion in her life.

Rebecca believes that being her own business owner does truly carry a ton of benefits. Her favorite thing truly never knowing where she will be going. She enjoys being able to travel and everyday brings a new adventure for her, and keeps her on her toes and keeps her busy too!
She loves being able to share what she learns with other. She also really enjoys being around other artists and creators. They help mentor her and inspire her as well. Rebecca truly believes that she has been blessed!
Challenges With Being A Business Owner
Rebecca believes being a business owner truly does have a lot of perks but it also brings it's own challenges too. The biggest one she says is ensuring that they have enough clients each week to cover both her personal and business bills. The economy can also take a toll, and maintaining a good work-life balance is crucial to avoid burnout in the future. In addition to high competition, the beauty industry can be cutthroat. However, she believes if you find the the right network that can make all the difference in the world. She believes that if you want to succeed in business, you must be willing to put in your best effort. Which means working long hours and pouring your heart and soul into your business to make it thrive. The key to success is consistency, a positive outlook, a strong network, and striving for your highest potential.

Future Plans For The Business
Rebecca has a lot of upcoming dreams and goals for her business. The biggest goal of hers as of right now, and what she has been focusing on is expanding her business in more states! She hopes to one day have large teams in every state. They also want to add more mobile beauty services to the business such as mobile nail techs, masseuses, and maybe even offer botox parties too! Rebecca has a lot of dreams her business and she is truly passionate about growing her business and making it the best that she can.
