After organizing a 220-guest wedding and spending three full days juggling spreadsheets and sticky notes, founder Suleman Malik realized there had to be a better way. That experience sparked the idea for a platform designed to simplify seating charts entirely. Launched in 2025 and based in New Jersey, Propose helps couples present their seating charts in a more intentional, modern way, true to the meaning behind its name. Propose was founded by Suleman Malik, alongside co-founder Fatimah Ali, both driven by a passion for creating simple solutions to real-life problems. With a background as an engineer and years in the corporate world, Suleman brings a problem-solving mindset into the wedding space, blending technology with practicality. Based in New Jersey, he balances building Propose as a growing startup alongside a full-time career. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, exploring new food spots, and creating content, all of which inspire his innovative approach to business.
